VIEW ALLShreya has experience in commercial and international construction arbitrations in South Asia and Europe, and is currently involved in various matters involving the FIDIC suite of contracts.
Before moving to London, Shreya was a practising Advocate in Nepal. During this time, she advised international clients in matters related to construction arbitration (ICC & SIAC), commercial arbitration, mediation, contract drafting, foreign investment, and regularly liaised with government bodies. She also represented clients in civil litigation before the District and High Courts of Nepal. Additionally, she was involved in a legal reform project in relation to the securities market in Nepal.
Shreya holds a combined Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Law (B.A., LL.B.) Honors degree from National Law University, Delhi (India). She also has a Masters degree in Comparative and International Dispute Resolution (Merit) from Queen Mary University of London, with a specific focus on arbitration.
Shreya is fluent in English, Nepali and Hindi.
Shreya cooks a delicious (if a bit spicy) chicken curry, and enjoys writing poetry and short stories.
