Nigeria: Represented the International Finance Corporation on a sovereign loan to the State of Lagos.
Ghana: Defended the Republic of Ghana in high-value ICC arbitration proceedings brought by Tullow Oil, relating to taxes levied on the proceeds of oil production from an African oil field.
Nigeria, Uganda, and Kenya: Acted on a cross-border divorce in which the most appropriate forum for the divorce was in dispute, with multiple child arrangement-related issues arising.
Ethiopia (Blue Nile): Acting for the employer in dispute board and ICC arbitration proceedings in a EUR 900 million claim concerning a large hydroelectric power project.
Kenya: Commissioned by the Commonwealth Secretariat to observe the 2022 Kenyan elections, pioneering a methodology for assessing the impact of social media on elections. This approach is now being adopted by other international electoral observation groups, including the OECD, EU, and CARICOM.
