Women in Law, panel event | 7 November
100 years since the Sex Disqualification (Removal) Act in 1919, the legal profession and the workplace as a whole are more diverse than ever, but barriers equally still remain. To mark the centenary a distinguished panel of speakers will be sharing their inspiring personal stories and professional experiences of diversity and inclusion throughout their careers in the legal industry - and discussing the challenges ahead for the next 100 years.
We want to inspire future generations and help to pave the way for a fairer and more empowering future for everyone in the legal industry.
Chaired by Head of Employment and Immigration Jane Amphlett, we welcomed the following guest speakers:
- Gill Phillips, Director of Editorial Legal Services at The Guardian
- Mohinderpal Sethi QC, Queen’s Counsel and Head of Employment at Littleton Chambers
- Leah Hurst, Head of Legal and Business Affairs at the Royal Opera House
