About

Lucy is a trainee solicitor in the Construction team, where she was previously a paralegal. She is involved mainly in contentious work, but also assists with transactional matters.

Lucy has shown an interest in the Building Safety Act, enacted by the Government to address the UK's "cladding crisis". She has written blog posts and undertaken various research tasks into recent case-law, legislation and government consultations, as this area of law develops.

Lucy started her training contract in September 2023 and has done a seat in the Development team and the Commercial Disputes team.

Previously, she worked in the Construction team at Howard Kennedy on both transactional and contentious matters.

Did you know

Lucy caught the 'travel bug' at a young age and recently embarked on a four-month sabbatical, travelling across South East Asia and Australia.
